WHERE'S THE HONESTY OR IS IT THERE ARE ALL KINDS OF DEFINITIONS OF WORKING THE PROGRAM? OLD TIMERS SITTING AROUND TLC CLUB, TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA TELL ME THE MONEY GOES INTO THE POCKET OF THE HIGH PRIEST OF AA (A CON DRESSED UP AS A MINISTER) TALKING SPIRITUAL CONSTIPATION BULLCRAP. THAT COUPLED WITH OTHER OLD HYMERS WITH NO END TO THEIR GOODNESS RESULTS IN AA IN THE SOUTHBAY SUFFERING FROM A "CULT" FEELING IN MEETINGS.

For many many years I have been involved as have people very close to me. The so called "high priest" as tou call him, donates MORE money than anyone else. So many of the extras we get there are because he gives his own money. He has also paid many of the outstanding fees due.
This is a private NOT AA organization. They offer a convention for people to get together on a very tough holiday to give an alternative to the obvious. That said, the "honesty" you are looking for is really not your business. Only AA sanctioned events qualify for all the openness you think the SBRU should have.
The people on the board of director ARE good people who I know well and work a real program.
